Hey there true-believers! You might have already heard. I've got a new webcomic out there, called IRON SAM, over at DC Comics' Zuda site:
--> Link to IRON SAM
Yes, it's an action-comic with a sci-fi twist set in a dystopian future. IRON SAM is about a pipe wielding robot-samurai that goes to any
lengths to accomplish his directives.
So, give it a look-see, kick the tires, and take it out for a spin. If you read it and it strikes your fancy, then feel free
to sign-in, vote for it, give it a 5-star rating, and make it one of your favorites.

The number one television comedy of the year, for me, has been COUGAR TOWN:

Yes, COMMUNITY is a good show, but it's not as strong right out of the gate. Pound for pound, COUGAR TOWN and it's group of 40 somethings have enough comedic punch to knock
me out -- or at least get a couple chuckles out of me almost every episode.
Another big surprise hit for me this year was DC's THE MIGHTY:

A Keith Champagne and Peter Tomasi joint collaboration. Probably, the best single comic trade I read this year. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the slow build
and courtesy the writers extend to the reader. They didn't feel the need to spell everything out. They let me fill-in the intentional gaps of the narrative. A+
storytelling made all the more bitter-sweet considering the series comes to a close with issue twelve.

Just a warm-up sketch I posted on the Image boards for Ivan Brandon's Kirby thread:

Been pretty "dead" around here of late, sorry about that. Check out this pin-up I did for a good friend of mine:
--> Link to a Resurrection pin-up
It's his favorite character, from Resurrection, the oh-five Lawrence Williams locked in mortal combat with an alien-bug. It was a lot of fun to do.
Oh... and speaking of "dead" there's another pin-up of mine over at mania.com with a short interview:

It's all about promoting the new Friday the 13th movie, coming out next week.

Named in honor of the late Harvey Kurtzman, one of the industry’s most innovative talents, the Harvey
Awards recognize outstanding work in comics and sequential art. Nominations for the Harvey Awards are
selected exclusively by creators - those who write, draw, ink, letter, color, design, edit or are otherwise
involved in a creative capacity in the comics field. They are the only industry awards both nominated and
selected by the full body of comic book professionals.
